Introduction
Murray Park School hosts a fantastic Year 6 summer school for one week only on Monday 19th August – Friday 23rd August 2024. The day begins at 8:45am and runs until 3:00pm each day. Our summer school is a free programme open to all Year 6 students who will be joining our school in September 2024.
Our summer school programme allows Year 6 students to meet our friendly staff team and get to know their new classmates. This opportunity is an excellent way to ensure a smooth transition from primary school to secondary school which can be a huge step for any child. Students will benefit from getting to know our wonderful school site, experience some of our fantastic facilities and begin to experience life at Murray Park School ahead of September. Our helpful staff team will be here to provide support and answer any questions or worries students may have throughout the summer school programme.
The Murray Park Year 6 summer school programme is a great opportunity for our new Year 7 students to have fun, relax with friends and prepare for their exciting journey at secondary school in September. In addition, there are some brilliant prizes to be won during the week including vouchers for a family takeaway evening, money off school uniform and stationary starter packs to name a few.
Activities
At Murray Park School we plan an exciting, action-packed week planned for our Year 6 students. Your child will experience taster sessions in a range of subjects, arts and crafts, a giant inflatable assault course and team building activities.
