In Religious Studies lessons we enable students to engage with and explore the six main world religions and also humanism so that they may develop and deepen their own sense of spirituality and to appreciate and understand the beliefs of others.  The students develop their understanding of the different beliefs within and between religions and express their own points of view about the topics and issues studied.

The Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum provides students with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, values and skills they need in order to reach their potential as individuals within the community. Relationships Education is an integral part of the PSHE curriculum. The Citizenship curriculum provides students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to prepare to play a full and active part in society.  Citizenship education fosters the students’ awareness and understanding of democracy, government and how laws are made and upheld.
